WORDS & CONTEXT

Words & context

“I'd recommend a follow-up next month.”

In medicine, a follow-up is a return visit to check progress. In business, it can mean additional contact about an earlier matter. The doctor recommends another visit next month.

“A few words each day will do.”

Something will do. means that it is enough or adequate; That will do. is also common. The doctor tells meticulous Frank that a few words each day are sufficient for his record.
