The nail holding Tina's star map came loose last night. Frank has brought a new picture hook. They're checking where to hang the map.
A little higher. No, lower. ...Yes, there.
I'll mark it in pencil before I put the new hook in.
Oh, I just got a message. The race has moved to Saturday. I'll be exhausted afterward. Can we move our movie to another day?
Sure. How about Sunday afternoon?
Sunday works. Remember when I canceled just as you were leaving?
I do. I was disappointed, but said it was fine. Then I barely spoke to you for two days.
I thought you meant it was fine. I didn't know why you were so distant.
I should've told you I was disappointed, instead of expecting you to guess.
And I should've told you work was running late, before you got ready to leave.
In other words, we tell each other what's going on, rather than expecting the other person to guess.
Exactly. Actually, could the map go a little to the left?
Of course. That's why I used a pencil.
