Tina joined a running club three weeks ago. She runs on Tuesdays and Thursdays. This morning, she's visiting Frank.

ティナは3週間前にランニングクラブに入った。活動は火曜と木曜。今朝はフランクの部屋を訪ねている。

You really seem into the running club.

ランニングクラブ、本当に夢中みたいだね。

Tina02

I am. We chat after each run. It's nice to have a group of my own.

そうなの。走ったあとに、みんなでおしゃべりするの。自分の仲間ができて、うれしいわ。

Frank03

I'm glad. Are you free Thursday evening? I could make coffee.

よかった。木曜の夜、空いてる？コーヒーを淹れるよ。

I'd love to, but Thursday's a club night. How about Friday?

行きたいけど、木曜はクラブの日なの。金曜はどう？

Friday works. Maybe I'll try a new hobby on Thursday.

金曜で大丈夫。じゃあ木曜は、新しい趣味でも試してみようかな。

What about your videos? Don't those count as a hobby?

Those are for my students. What I need is a hobby with no deadlines and nothing to post.

I do. Usually for visitors. I'd like to try something just for myself.

好きだよ。たいていは誰かをもてなすために焼いてるけど。自分の楽しみのためだけに、何かやってみたいんだ。

Then try a few things. You don't have to be good at them.
