I spent half my interview talking about the wrong person!

Frank03

What did they ask?

Tina04

"Tell us about a time you led a team." So I explained how their CEO started in sales and became president.

Frank05

How did you end up talking about that?

Tina06

I heard "led a team" and jumped straight to the company leader. I'd researched his whole career.

Frank07

When did you realize?

Tina08

When they asked, "And what about your own experience?"

Frank09

Were you able to answer?

Tina10

Barely. I hadn't practiced talking about myself at all.

Frank11

Let's practice. Tell me about yourself.

Tina12

Right. Me. Finally, someone I've actually met.
