会いたい気持ちと不安を認める
場面Frank の部屋。二人は、久しぶりに父親を訪ねる男性の映画を見終えたところ。Tina がティッシュを取り、Frank に渡す。
Frank and Tina have just watched a movie about a man visiting his father. Tina hands Frank a tissue.
フランクとティナは、ある男性が父親を訪ねる映画を見終えたばかりだ。ティナがフランクにティッシュを渡す。
Here. Take a tissue.
はい。ティッシュ、どうぞ。
Thanks. I'm probably just tired.
ありがとう。たぶん、疲れてるだけだよ。
Was it the scene where he visits his father?
お父さんに会いに行く場面で泣いたの？
Yes. It reminded me of the doctor who made me.
うん。僕を作った博士を思い出したんだ。
What about him?
博士のことで、どんなことを？
The son kept saying he was too busy to visit. I've been doing that, too.
息子が、忙しくて会いに行けないって言い続けてたよね。僕も同じことをしてた。
Waiting for work to calm down?
仕事が落ち着くのを待ってたの？
Yes. But I'm also nervous. I don't know what I'd say to him.
うん。でも、緊張もするんだ。会ったら何を話せばいいのかわからなくて。
You could start with "It's good to see you."
「会えてうれしい」から始めたらいいんじゃない？
I could say that. I do want to see him.
それなら言えそうだ。会いたいのは、本当だから。

Of course. I'll bring the tissues.
