Frank and Tina are planning a trip together. They've spent an hour trying different filters in a travel app, looking for a destination and a place to stay.

Tina01

Zero results? Frank, what did you check?

Frank02

"Quiet." "No nightlife." "Away from main streets." You?

Tina03

"Nightlife." "Festivals." "Open past midnight." So together, we asked for a town that doesn't exist.

Frank04

I chose those because I pictured you dragging me to a club every night.

Tina05

And I pictured you reading in the hotel room for a week. Which, honestly, you would.

Frank06

I would. But I don't mind crowds. I just don't want to sleep above them.

Tina07

I don't need to stay out past midnight. I just want food and music within walking distance, and somewhere quiet to sleep.

Frank08

Then we chose filters before we understood each other. If we'd talked first, we'd have saved an hour.

Tina09

So: a quiet inn, and something lively close by.

Frank10

I'll drop "No nightlife" and keep "Quiet." You can drop "Open past midnight."

Tina11

Fine... Forty-two results! A coastal town — a quiet inn, and an outdoor concert with food trucks a ten-minute walk away. It starts at seven p.m.

Frank12

Perfect. Let's get food first, then enjoy the concert together.

Tina13

Deal. And you still get to read. The food menus.
