Narrator

Three months after their first real fight, Frank and Tina are having dinner at a restaurant.

Tina01

You know what I noticed? When I canceled our Saturday plans last week, you asked me why right away.

Frank02

"Is something wrong between us, or are you just busy? I'd rather ask than guess."

Tina03

Word for word. You memorized your own text?

Frank04

I rewrote this one twice. Last time, I was upset but kept quiet for two days.

Tina05

I know. And I should've given you more notice. This time, I told you on Friday that I couldn't make Saturday.

Frank06

That helped. I could make other plans. I just wanted to check we were okay.

Tina07

And I answered your question in one minute: "It's work. A deadline. Not you."

Frank08

Fifty-two seconds. I checked the timestamps.

Tina09

Of course you did. See? One question, one answer. No drama.

Frank10

Much better than two days of silence.

Tina11

Still, I feel bad about Saturday. So tonight, dinner's on me.

Frank12

You didn't have to do that. ...Does that include dessert? I need a minute to choose.

Tina13

You get fifty-two seconds. I'm timing you.
