Narrator

Tina is looking at her phone. An unopened book lies on her desk, beneath her star map. Frank is visiting.

Tina01

I meant to spend ten minutes on Instagram. It's been two hours.

Frank02

Weren't you going to read that book?

Tina03

I haven't even opened it. I need a break from social media.

Frank04

Why not try a week?

Tina05

But what if I miss my friends' news?

Frank06

Ask them to call or text you directly.

Tina07

I could call my friends back home instead of just reading their posts.

Frank08

Exactly. And you'd have time for your book.

Tina09

Okay, one week. Will you join me?

Frank10

Sure. Let's start tonight.

Tina11

Great. I'll post that we're taking a break.

Frank12

And then close the app?

Tina13

Yes. Right after I check who liked it.
