Narrator

Frank is meeting Ms. Vance, a buyer for a store chain. They're discussing a regular order for his company's water-testing kits.

Vance01

We'd buy five thousand kits a month, at forty-five dollars each.

Frank02

That wouldn't cover production and shipping. We could offer fifty with a twelve-month contract.

Vance03

Would you accept six months?

Frank04

We'd need extra equipment. Six months wouldn't cover that cost. Could we agree on nine?

Vance05

Five thousand every month for nine months, at fifty each?

Frank06

Yes. We'd need that purchase commitment in writing.

Vance07

I'll get approval and send you a proposal by Friday.

Frank08

Could you also display the kits at eye level?

Vance09

Why that position?

Frank10

I visited your stores. Products on the bottom shelves were hard to spot.

Vance11

I'll include that in the proposal.

Vance12

Anything else about the shelf?

Frank13

Eye level for your customers, please. Not mine.
