WORDS & CONTEXT

Words & context

“"Help Wanted" sign”

A Help Wanted sign advertises a job opening, often at a store entrance. Here help means workers or people who can assist. In this scene, the sign is recruiting part-time staff.

“Do you have any experience?” / “come in for an interview”

Experience is uncountable when it means work experience, so the question uses any experience. Come in means to come to the workplace, and come in for an interview means to visit for a job interview. Tina asks whether she may do so tomorrow.
